Strategic partnership / iGuzzini acquisition
We are pleased to announce that SISTEMALUX and iGuzzini have entered a new strategic partnership.
The agreement sees iGuzzini acquiring the majority ownership of SISTEMALUX.
This is the union of two highly complementary firms that share the same values and philosophy of doing business: producing value for our clients through innovation, quality and design. Both teams emphasize honesty and integrity, and bring a positive attitude to work.
The North American design and manufacturing team in Montreal will remain deeply focused on servicing the North American clients now with even more innovative technologies. The two companies will now share product platforms and technologies to accelerate time to market and leverage their respective know how. A larger share of iGuzzini products will now be manufactured in Montreal to better serve our clients.
The current management team will retain control of the strategic direction of the company and the day-to-day operations. Salvatore Folisi will remain the CEO of the company.
iGuzzini management believes strongly in the North American market and intend to invest their resources to support our growth plan.
We have been working side by side with iGuzzini for over 20 years and we are already partners in iGuzzini N.A. and iGuzzini USA. This acquisition reinforces our union and further leverages the synergies consolidated in last decades.
